Is this photo real?
I saw an argument on another forum about it being photoshopped or not:

1. It's real.
He introduced Lennon at an anti-war protest.

17. Hee hee!
No, they're still running around up there, at least they were the other night. All personal bizness has been put on hold until after Nov. 2. After THAT, I'll call the exterminator. Although I don't see where they could be hiding out, I *just* put new screens on the attic over the summer. And did a bang-up job on it if I do say so myself. :D

4. It is real, there is actually a story behind it.
I'll find and post unless someone beats me to it. This picture was used in the PBS Frontline show Election 2004, so I do not think they would use something photoshopped.

7. Imagine
If Lennon were alive today, I wonder what he would think. I "imagine" he'd be quite vocal, but perhaps from the safety of another country.

12. Why would Lennon do anything different now. No way he was strong.

13. I've thought of that, too
How Lennon would have responded to the 9/11 attacks. NYC was his home. I'm sure he would have been very active in this election process.

God damn Mark Chapman to hell! (Sorry - I had to add that.)

8. It appears to be real.
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 02:11 PM by aden_nak
I see nothing to indicate to me that it was photoshopped. If it WAS edited, it was done by someone familiar with photography (the telltale giveaway of a bad 'shop job is not blurring elements that are different distances from the lens, as would happen with a real camera). Though because of the staggered nature of Lennon and Kerry, it is difficult to determine by lighting and shadow if the photo is authentic. As I said, though, I see nothing to indicate forgery.

9. I'm sorry but Kerry sucks at the jackets
he really sucks at picking cool casual jackets, ex: that photo, and the "working man" jacket he had on @ the iowa rally that was on TV the other night. He needs to talk w/ edwards about casual jacket purchasing...that's really the only thing I don't like about Kerry. :P

most of the people.

14. Naw, he's worn it before, it just doesn't fit him right,
he doesn't wear loose enough pants for that type of jacket. Edwards had a great looking jacket on that night, and he clearly looked much more "comfortable" in it. Kerry needed to unzip it to pull it off when it was zipped up it looked like a mini skirt
