Wondering...what is the surest sign of Bush desparation?
As the campaign goes on he's getting more and more desperate.

What do you think will be the surest sign of desparation?

17. In golf, a Mulligan is a do-over.
After he got creamed in the first debate, Bush* announced a "Major Policy Address" so the media would broadcast it. Instead he delivered his usual stump speech with some additions criticing Kerry's debate responses. The fearless leader couldn't respond at the debate with his opponent kicking his ass, he needed a do-over in front of rabid right wingers.

Today, after losing all three debates, Bush* pulled the same stunt. Naturally the media covered it. Pathetic.

Those are the Mulligan speeches.

20. After Bush got his ASS kicked in the first debate. . .
He called a said he had a MAJOR speech to deliver a few days later. People expected an announcement about al Queda or something late-and-breaking. What he did was read off a list of retorts to Kerry's points from the last debate. Several days afterwards. When Kerry wasn't there to refute him.

It was the equivelant to muttering in the kitchen to yourself after you lose an argument with your girlfriend/boyfriend. Except Bush got to do it on live, national television under the guise of an important government anouncement.

8. One sign of desperation
is the 12 page Swiftvets full color propaganda mass mailer that just arrived in my mailbox. My guess is everybody in Ohio got one of these filthy lie filled pieces of trash which had to cost a ton to print and mail. Rather than go to their website and give them traffic, let me just say to Ken Cordier and all the other swift slimebags out there, go fuck yourselves. You shitheels are not even worthy to clean John Kerry's shoes. May you all rot together in the inner circle of hell.

You think Kerry betrayed you for speaking out against the Viet Nam war. I am convinced he saved thousands from what was then a misguided and corrupt foreign policy. It reminds me very much of the present misguided and corrupt policy of the bush* crime family. Once again, Ken, eat shit.

21. Let me see...
Challenging the validity of new voter registration.
Revisiting Ohio and Florida.
Cutting a deal with right wing buddies to air propaganda in battleground states a week before the election.
"Firming up the base" -- reaching out only to born again freaks and millionaires and giving up on swing voters.

At this point, he should be in autopilot with Florida and Ohio in the bag. They're in trouble and they know it.
