Let me get this straight re Zarqawi
Two weeks before our election he puts out a statement that says, "Oh yeah, I am Al Qaeda after all." He might have added, "So when Bush catches my ass this week, you mediawhores better be sure to call me a major Al Qaeda figure, ya hear."

Christ, Chimp and mediawhores think Americans are so damn dumb. Sadly, we're about to see if they're right.

2. LOL
The way these guys give away the "plot", you'd be sure they were writing for a bad TV drama.

3. Another smash trom the producers of the highly acclaimed "Fat Osama" ....

and the legendary "Al Qaeda Hurts Puppies," we are proud to present another extravaganza in the heart-warming series that explains, in laymans terms, that the US government is quite simply not offering compensation packages that are competitive with Madison Avenue.

You'd think they'd at least try to get the Spongemonkeys guy.

Notice how this comes out NOW

As far as I can remember, if it is even him at all

Didnt they say that Zarqawi was the "Mastermind" of the Sept 11th
attacks.
Wasnt he always supposed Al-Kida?

Does all this look suspicious, scare the people into believing
that Zarqawi/ Al Kida crap??

6. egggzzactly!! He will be found with detailed notes on not only 9/11
planning but also his "recorded" conversations with Saddam planning that and other attacks. The grand finale....he will be caught with about 4 different attacks ready to be dropped on the USA but FOILED by the mighty Bush and his merry band of product marketers.

10. The report I saw said this statement came out on an Islamist website.
I couldn't help remembering all the talk about the Pentagon setting up departments of disinformation. And what better (and easier) than to set up websites purporting to support Al Qaida? Yet our mainstream journalists have never, as far as I know, shown the least skepticism about reports like this--leaving the rest of us to to make up the skepticism-deficit. I think I do more than my share--I believe nothing government spokesmen say these days. But I'm troubled by the thought that that is maybe one of the goals of disinfo--to make us all despair of ever untangling the web of lies, fictions, misdirection, etc.

I wonder if any of the good journalists out there has yet deconstructed the Zarquawi story. Guess it's time to google this.
