As Early Voting Begins, Governor Joins Call For More Sites In Duval

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- As early voting opened Monday morning, the controversy over Duval County having only a single site continues to grow, with Gov. Jeb Bush and Florida's top election official speaking out over the weekend, and the Rev. Jesse Jackson coming to town Monday.

In an interview on ABC News' "This Week" Sunday, Gov. Jeb Bush said he disagrees with a plan to have only one early-voting place in downtown Jacksonville to cover all of Duval County.

"We passed a law that created a standard for early voting, and it should be spread out across the community," he said in the interview. "That's the whole point, is to get people to vote early."
