New CBS/NYTIMES Poll *47% Kerry 45% Nader 2%

Apparently Kerry lost a point to Nader since their last Poll. YAWN

CBS News-New York Times, Oct. 14-17, 678 LV, MoE +/-4

(three-way)

(Results from Oct. 9-11 in parentheses)

_Bush-Cheney, 47 percent (47)

_Kerry-Edwards, 45 percent (46)

_Nader-Camejo, 2 percent (1)

_Unsure, 6 percent (6)

1. Bad news for Georgie on his approval ratings.
In the CBS/NYT poll, 44 percent said they approved of the president's performance, compared to 48 percent who do not approve. Other surveys have approval ratings ranging as high as 51 percent.

2. What crap these polls are
OVer half the country thinks we are headed in the wrong direction, a majority disapprove of the job * is doing, yet he is leading in many polls?

I dont believe it for a second.

3. Those numbers are wrong in the article
The Oct. 9-11 poll had it Bush 48, Kerry 45 with Nader included. Without Nader, it was 47-46.
