My dad's 4' by 8' Kerry sign was stolen!

The sign was tied to their chain link fence AND tethered to the ground!

They live in a suburb of Orlando. He's a Vet for Kerry and Mom is legally blind. They both have been active in the campaign.

and shame the Repukes for doing this. If they aren't up for that, why not tell the local Democratic headquarters about it, and round up some folks who will donate X number of dollars for every sign stolen?

I've been wondering; has anyone heard whether Bush signs are likewise being stolen and vandalized?? I heard a talk show host complaining that Bush/Cheney signs were being ripped off and cars being vandalized for sporting repub stickers. Anyone hear any mention of this?

I wouldn't do such a thing, but you can never tell about the mindset of someone else. Are we(Dems) the only ones being targeted in this regard?

Anecdotally, here where I am in N.C., only the Kerry signs are getting stolen (and other Dems too) but not the Bush signs. So the Bush people are definitely the ones starting it. But people are replacing the Kerry signs. However if the Kerry signs keep getting stolen repeatedly I would not be surprised if somebody gets ticked off enough to go after the Bush signs.

22. That's exactly what is happening in my area. I've considered getting some

Ten Commandment signs and highlighting the "Thou shalt not steal", stapling them to the Smirk*/Sneer signs and putting 2 Kerry/Edwards signs to either side. A lot of stealing K/E signs and replacing with B/C in the last couple of weeks and it is starting to piss people off!

And the SOB's in true form start doing this when it is getting dark.

I was listening to a Moderate talk show host today....not my usual fair mind you. KGO radio is the station. San Francisco Bay Area locations were mentioned: MARIN County, CA

Last night Pachamama said his/her Kerry signs were being ripped off like crazy in his town: MARIN County, CA

So, I wrote to the host to tell him that nationwide, KERRY SIGNS were the ones being stolen or vandalized by a WIDE margin. I was just curious if anyone had heard about Dems running amok at Bush signs. By now, with all the vandalism, I can understand someone's feelings at retaliating at the Bush/cheney efforts...but I don't think most of we Dems would actually do that.
