Someone repaired my fallen Kerry/Edwards sign!
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 07:10 PM by zaj
Someone in my neighborhood helped to prop up my fallen (wind) Kerry sign. They actually went 10 or so yards down the road to get a rock to use to prop up the sign that the wind had blown over.

(so many negative "my Kerry sign" threads, thought I should share a positive one)

3. are you sure?
maybe some redneck thought he'd give the fallen sign the coup de gras with a rock lobbed hookshot style from his oversized pick-up as he drove by and it hit the bottom of the stick just right such that it was jerked back upright.

damn i'm cynical.

5. Darn, it sounded like you had "repaired" someone for...
messing with your sign. Good to hear anyways.

7. Actually
I thought it meant that a guy in a wheelchair or with a broken leg had hit the fallen sign and fallen over/been thrown from chair, tried to get up and found they could walk again. Now THAT would be a story. Amazing what small typos will do for preconceptions :-). Oh, well, this is good news anyway, there are some good people left in the world.

8. Someone sprayed a big NO on the Kerry sign
...in front of one of the rare union halls in my area. The NO arrived at about the same time as the biker plague. Er, I mean Biketoberfest.
