1. I watched him give it live this am and he, shall I say,
pissed a royal river! He was wonderful. He told it all. Summed it all up nice and neat. All four years in a nutshell. And he and Tipper looked well and happy! I was thrilled to see and hear him.

6. Transcript available
at http://www.algoredemocrats.com/news/gnn/EpAlEukuZEoWoQliyA.shtml

It's not the greatest transcription, whoever typed it made a lot of typos and doesn't know how to punctuate, so it's not the easiest read, but it's all there.

3. Will C-span repeat this?? I missed it
Main TV is out. Using one small portable set for everyone in the house. Warring about who gets to watch what. :(

18. Thanks, but the video link seems to be overloaded right now.
I can't seem to get the video link on C-Span to work right now, either. It's not my connection because I watch a lot of C-Span features online. C-Span will be re-airing the speech at 12 midnight (eastern).

11. THREE very interesting and powerful speeches today
I loved Gore today but, chose to focus on the contrasts between * and Kerry in my post...

A Tale Of Two Speeches

both Kerry AND Gore laid out the facts today.

chimpy just did the 'hate and fear' mantra once again. but, his 'followers' are getting VERY scary. cornered rats?

14. Excellent speech!
Now if we may incite the media to report on Gore's speech, investigate his points, check his facts and deliver the truth in form of a demand for impeachment that is palatable by even the fundamentalists...

I watched the stream today. Gore was dead-on with this one. Kudos!

Is rove concerned at all?

26. Emailed a note
Using DU's media contact list, I emailed a note around to many of the reasonable journalists suggesting discussion of Gore's important speech.

It really was fantastic and deserves broader airing.

Haven't read ANYTHING about it on Yahoo or in the paper this morning. Invisible.

Also haven't read anything about General Sanchez's recently unearthed memo regarding lack of equipment and troops. Also invisible.

We're on our own.

20. This speech is the Rosetta Stone for the future of our party!
This speech was a work of genius. We owe him a great deal. He outlined the true motivations -- greed and love of power -- and spun out the implications of this alga rhythm in every policy area. He is a national treasure. You can be sure his cable network will rock the world.

buried it at the bottom of an inside page today.

Sigh. This is what the paper of Watergate has descended to.

Not that Gore's speech kicks ass, but the idea that Gore is not the President.

Mostly for the "ending of political grace on 911" and the Abu Grahib, Guantanamo, Afghanistan torture truth. We could have had him if not for Scalia&comp.....
