Today was a bale of final straws. The replys to the Guardian, the obvious skewing of polls. The new B*/C sign around the corner from my house, with the banner underneath - 'A NECESSITY NOT A CHOICE'.

That was it.

This ex-limey may have been denied the opportunity to vote for John Kerry in 04, by less than a month, but I still get freedom of speech, so now our house proudly displays a JK/JE sign, and my car is finally emblazoned. (Of course hubby is a registered voter anyway) Whats more, I signed up to volunteer on Election day. I will not stand idly by and watch my home country taken over by neo-fascists and their thugs. Whats more, I shall be proud to be voting for John Kerry's reelection in 08 as a registered Democrat.

5. You can do more

If low income urban youth believe that * is better at keeping them safe we must prove otherwise, in a simple easy to understand irrefutable format. I use flyers all the time in my street canvassing. I also use poor man's advertising techniques, ie. flyers on utility poles in urban neighborhoods. The flyer below accomplishes three things, it exposes Bush's lie in the 3rd debate, focuses on the fact that OBL is still out there AND proves with expert testimony from the Army War College and General Odom that in fact the Iraq debacle has made us less safe. But the most important thing it does is MOCK that puny pathetic man.

7. If only I could get enough people covering utility poles,

boarded up buildings and bus stop shelters, and car windshields with BC04 bumper stickers.

It's the 3M spray adhesive that makes it a blast and the reaction of bystanders. They love it. It's grass roots advertising at it's most raw.
