What the &*#@ is up with Novak and the Probe? |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 09:16 PM by goodwalt
I have been dumbfounded by what is going on with the Plame probe, and even more dumbfounded that nobody seems to be commenting on it. Seeing as they ARE trying to send two reporters to jail for refusing to cooperate, they DO APPEAR to be pursuing this. What has me flummoxed is that neither reporter is Novak- THE REPORTER that blew Plame's cover. Both Novak and the special prosecutor refuse to comment on whether or not he has testified. I can only come up with two possible resolutions for this mystery. 1- The SP is shilling for the administration, protecting Novak, Rove, and the boys at all costs and using these other reporters as a smokescreen for inaction OR 2-Novak sang like a canary, and they are now just going after confirmation from these other reporters (and delaying high-level charges until after the election). Is there a third (or tenth) possibility out there that I'm missing?

2. Yes, there's a third possibility |
|
It's possible they're interviewing others first and getting the info required to nab Novak.
Not saying it's probable, but it's possible.

Very informative (and not just for spelling purposes). I realize that NOTHING is going to break out of this before the election- but I dearly would love to see Rove brought up on charges in November. With all the damaging inside info he must have on chimpy, I think * would have to pardon him on his way out. Oh the irony! Pardoning his right hand man for violating his father's signature criminal enactment.

5. I am equally baffled by this question... |
|
Miller, but what about Novak? I'm so glad you addressed this. I've been meaning to myself, or google the topic. I've been thinking about it for about 5 days. Thanks for posting. Maybe I'll get some reasonable answers.

7. Seems like I read (or heard) that Rove was called to |
|
testify before the grand jury on the Valerie Plame case this last weekend. Said he testified for over 2 1/2 hours on Saturday. Wonder why it hasn't been reported more? Am I dreaming? Did Rove testify? Why has Novak been hauled away in leg irons? I want this administration and all their henchmen called before a judge and jury and see their butts in jail where they belong.

11. You can be pretty sure Rove sold out Cheny, Chimpy, Scooter |

& company. I, too, would love to see the whole bunch brought up on charges, kicked out of office, and put in prison-in that order. All the more reason to get Kerry into office then demand some action. If results come out before Janurary, Bushboy will pardon everybody and the game is over-including the intel leaks. But if bushbaby is no longer in command, we'll get 'em and have a chance at a much bigger sweep across the board. This will also (most likely) have a huge effect on the so-called war on terror, as well. Remember- Kerry was the big dog in the prosecution of the BCCI scandels and therby produced the biggest strike against terror organizations around lfifteen years ago.

should have been expedited instead of stonewalled.
throughout most of our history, there would already have been executions over this.

13. Yes. John Kerry called Cheney's daughter a "lesbian". |
|
Until we spend two weeks interviewing 5 disgruntled POWs about how in 1972 John Kerry personally gave them the heartbreak of psoraisis, that is all the news you need to know, Citizen.
