Green Bay WI TV Station Calls It For Bush
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 09:31 PM by rocknation
Found this at Bartcop:

Thursday, October 7, 2004--WBAY TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin is running an AP article reporting that Bush has won the election, weeks before the election is to take place.

(The article reads in part) At this hour, President Bush has won re-election as president by a 47 percent to 43 percent margin in the popular vote nationwide. Ralph Nader has 1 percent of the vote nationwide. That's with 51 percent of the precincts reporting.

...AP is now saying (it) was a "test article"...that was "inadvertently" picked up by WBAY.

I wonder what was being tested--WBAY'S competence?

5. A 47-43 Bush Lead with 51% of the precincts doesn't sound finished to me
I could be wrong, but if Nader is supposedly just garnering 1%, what's with the rest? Could Bush have won with 9% unaccounted for?

Perhaps others would know more about this than I would. Maybe it would statistically close to impossible for Kerry to close the gap with those numbers. Assuming I did my calculations correct, Kerry would have to top 53.66% of the remaining votes to win if he were trailing 43-47 with 49% of the vote uncounted. Would that be possible?

7. "Election's over. Stay home. Don't vote."
You'll see lot's more of these sort of things over the next two weeks. Designed to spread apathy and resignation. The "why bother" reaction. PSYOPS at work. Be prepared. Be aware.
