A week or two ago on tv I heard a talking head cite a statistic that, the closer you get to the election, undecided voters disproportionately break on the side of the challenger and not the incumbent. I was wondering if anyone else saw this statement or knows if it is true.

I think the idea is that if they were going to the incumbent, they would have already gone.

Countdown. He told Keith that this holds true, no matter what party the incumbent is from, and no matter what the race-be it house, senate, governor, or for the White House. He was positive and confident that Kerry will win! :bounce:
