Philly-Area Theater Cancels Screening Of Anti-Kerry Film
Sorry if this is a dupe, but I couldn't find any reference to it. There's a few more sentences at the link.

http://www.nbc10.com/entertainment/3831507/detail.html

PHILADELPHIA -- A film that takes aim at Sen. John Kerry's war record -- and is the subject of a new libel lawsuit -- won't be shown in suburban Philadelphia as planned Wednesday night.

"Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" was slated to be shown at the Baderwood Theater in Jenkintown, but the theater tells The Philadelphia Inquirer they've canceled the show.

James Beasley, a lawyer for a Vietnam vet who filed the suit Monday, tells The Associated Press that he threatened to sue the theater if it showed the film.

I know that anti-war Vets are mad as hell about the propaganda smears against Kerry.

2. No, I haven't seen this..
"Beasley's client, University of Delaware professor Kenneth Campbell, says the film portrays him as a fraud and liar."

I've seen this name before.."Kenneth Campbell"..I thought he was one of the bad guys. I guess not.

4. I was aware of the lawsuit...
...but until I read this article, I didn't know Campbell was represented by Beasley. James Beasley, Jr. is a member of the Beasley Law Firm here in Philadelphia. The Beasley Law Firm is one of the top plaintiffs law firms in the country. If they are involved, the case has merit, and they will litigate it aggressively. James Beasley, Sr., who founded the firm, was easily one of the top 5 trial attorneys in the USA until he died of lymphoma last month. It doesn't surprise me at all that the theater caved to the threat. Sinclair's lawyers better do their homework if they intend to show the film. Beasley doesn't make idle threats.

5. Here's a link ....
...to the Beasley Law Firm's web site, which has a link to the complaint which it filed on behalf of Mr. Campbell.
