It is going to be hard to weather the Sinclair storm
I don't think it is the movie itself that will do the most damage. I think some people won't even see that. However, the media spin will be horrible. They will keep interviewing the people over and over.

4. The storm is going to be when the Good Christian Sinclair management
is exposed Friday night for having sex parties with hookers. HAHAHAHAHA.
They'll probably throw in a mention of David Sinclairs' blowjob while riding down the highway. HAHAHAHAHA.

SBGI is soooo fucked.

6. I think it will blow up in their faces. Meanwhile, we need to
put our heads together and work on positive reactions and not dwell on defensive moves.

For instance, my local paper did not have a single pro-Kerry Letter to the Editor in it's last issue. At the very least we need to make sure EVERY pro* LTTE is answered. We need to make a huge effort to flood the papers with pro-Kerry. My local paper is thepilot.com if anyone would like to help.

States that are solid RED, talk up the importance of keeping a close margin and work to get every single D vote to the polls.

7. Here's the thing, Mom and Dad Normal are going to be kind of upset
that their regularly scheduled programming is interrupted. Just my guess. :hi: Most people are not interested in documentaries, and those who are are usually the ones who have made up their minds already. :hi:

8. This may help
This lawsuit was filed in Philadelphia yesterday by one of the top plaintiffs law firms in the country. It has already resulted in the cancellation of a showing of the movie in a local Philadelphia theater.

10. I don't think it will hurt or help Kerry
Anyone that was going to change their mind because of these assholes has already been had. I think they maxed out over a month ago, and now they're wasting their money.

12. We all need to send emails, write letters to editor emphasizing unfairness
Sinclair's news chief being fired for speaking out about his refusal to go along with their blatant misuse of airwaves in showing propaganda as 'news' - gives us a great opportunity to defuse the program's impact by discrediting it.

Jon Leiberman of Sinclair stated that it will not be possible for anyone to check out or verify whether or not this film is accurate and Kerry is not being given equal time. He clearly stated it is propaganda aimed to sway the election, not to present legitimate news because the decision to air the film was made by Sinclair's anti-Kerry editorial writer who is not a journalist.

Please write letters to the editor and contact your TV stations and other media to run stories covering this important issue.

14. I actually don't think the media will bite
When dealing with a media "competitor" of sorts (I know it's not quite that simple), the real story will be the brash political partisanship of a broadcast news organization.

It's possible, however, that they will ignore it altogether (in the sake of comity with their Sinclair affiliates).
