Campaigned for Bush/Cheney 2004 yesterday
Yesterday afternoon I did my first tour holding a Bush/Cheney 2004 sign on our busiest intersection. I was fortunate to join a group of Republicans doing last minute voter registration and, presumably, ripping up the Dem reg forms if they got any. I believe they were unsure whose side I was on, dressed as The Grim Reaper and holding an addendum to my sign listing 1,101 US Troops underneath.
Next time it will also say NOT ONE WMD.

the Belly of the Beast. Not a swing state, but easily subject to an absolute theft. Many moves have been made in that direction. Beware.
With luck I'll be standing near Jim Robinson very soon. Damn rain.

6. You too?

I finagled a Bush/Cheney pin off a drunk girl last night. Now my Halloween costume is complete.

8. A suggested variation to campaigning for Bush/Cheney
Go door-to-door with a slightly glazed look on your face and do a brief B/C04, then go into a spiel for a donation to a fictional church.

Don't keep the money, give it to your favorite charity "in the name of" said fictional church.

10. You would know it's fake
and besides, you can give the money to a GOOD charity.

Personally, I would believe that the people at the door would still freak and slam the door shut on the "Jehovah's Witness" type.

11. that isnt funny or justifiable
it is bad enough that beggars cant be trusted, since they are outnumbered by scam artists. The only appropriate response is to provide food or clothing, not money, and this is a direct result of scams like you propose. I dont appreciate it at all.
