Pagans for Bush/Cheney '04
Proof that the world is far more complex than anyone here wishes to believe.

http://www.witchvox.com/words/words_2004/e_pap01.html

My family and close friends are in shock. My boss was surprised and pleased. Most of my local Pagan Community was up in arms. How could I have put that sticker on my car? Right beside the Darwin Fish, above the "Tree Hugging Dirt Worshiper," and below the "Get A Taste Of Religion, Lick A Witch," you will find a Red, White, and Blue sticker that proudly proclaims "Bush/Cheney 2004"...

...To have a society such as ours, we must all work so we can make money, pay taxes, and hold our status. To have jobs we must first have businesses. This is fundamental to the Republican Party and it's something I believe strongly in. I would gladly give up my middle/lower class tax cut if it would guarantee that my employer could have theirs and use that money for my raise, or for new employees, or to put toward our healthcare plan. I am very lucky that I work for a well-established company. After twp years of employment I will have my health care covered at 100 percent. I would be happy to give up my refund for that alone.

2. Blinded by trickle down economics ...
Anyone who would give up their tax cuts so their employer gets them is completely nuts.

Cheers
Drifter

5. It's not that unusual..
When I was active in Asatru, there was a clear split between the libertarian/free marketeers who attempted to use saga era Iceland as an example of "libertopia" and the left leaning participants. Even within the more leftie leaning Ring of Troth, there were those that held this view (as opposed to the markedly more right leaning Asatru Alliance, etal).

When Pat Robertson's brigades come to invite you to a 'barbecue', you'll have no one but yourself to blame.
