1. Tweety said Kerry should win PA and OH
and if he can win MN or WI it's over.

2. Rout
If this trend continues, the rout is on.

Fuckface better drop in a Terra Alert to get the polls swinging back into his fucking favor.

4. That map gives FL to Kerry
I'll believe that when I see it. OH is a safer bet.

10. That's looking more and more likely...
...it would be awesome if we won WITH Florida to turn it into an EC Rout!

That site is run by a Republican shill (or so far too many people keep saying on DU).

People who slam E-V.com, please note. He calls it like his mathematical model sees it.

It's an excellent site.

He has Florida by 1 percent in a 10/17 Survey USA poll, the most recent. Means little, except that Kerry is competitive. It's all about *massive* Dem turnout to stop election fraud in Florida.

9. Believe's got nothin' to do with it

To paraphrase Clint Eastwood in *Unforgiven.* E-V.com just keeps a running tally of all state polls, or virtually all, and updates his map with whatever the very latest poll is. It's only one of many poll-watching models, with the virtue of simplicity.

The only way to understand polls in the aggregate is to observe them for clear trendlines across multiple polls. The trendline in Florida is flat.

I guess my point is that I don't know why people get so upset when numbers turn against us, and get into blaming the messenger (even Gallup, though I do think CNN is corrupt and manages to present Gallup numbers so they are discouraging to Democrats). Equally, I don't know why anyone would look at E-V.com today and breathe a sigh of relief. Yeah, we winning today. But more than 100 EVs are in states within the margin of error on one side or the other. Don't mistake the map for the territory -- a classic military error.
