The people will determine the outcome of the election. No gimmicky sound-bites, deceptive talking points, dishonest analysis, slanted polls, biased news coverage will matter if the people make their voice heard. Probably the least relevant information at this point are fluctuations in national polls.

Watch, read, and listen to those things if you want, but don't forget that you are engaging in a distraction, entertainment only -- the course of the election is pretty much set - barring a HUGE, HUGE external event, few minds will be changed at this point. It is all ground game and grassroots.

And when the American people speak, John Kerry will become President.
