48-46-2 for Bush w/Nader

45-45 without

There must be collective gnashing of teeth and fouling of garments at Bush-Cheney headquaters... If you run into a Republican be sure to hold your nose...

2. That's a 3-point gain for Kerry in the two-way race
and a 2-point gain in the three-way race - just in one day. In both cases, it's the best he's done so far in this tracking poll.

It's almost gone from the tracking polls, and some of the national polls, too.

8. The Pukes Have To Be Disappointed The Story Doesn't Have Legs...
go to realclearpolitics and read David Brooks editorial...

He's saying Kerry is a "dirty campaigner"

Bush is basically saying that the terrorists will kill your babies if you vote for Kerry...

What horseshit...

9. That's the GOP meme now
There's that article someone posted here quoting a Bush-Cheney spokeswoman in Colorado accusing K-E of cheating. No evidence was presented, of course.

10. But why isn't Kerry up in ANY ??
Why is it that the best he can do is just tie? I don't think ALL the polls are biased.

Think about it...

You're watching your team play football....

They were winning 21-0 at half time... It's now the 4th quarter and there is five minutes left... It's now 21-21...

How would you feel?

16. And Bush's share of the vote is the most important number
He's at 45-48 percent, for the most part, which is poor for an incumbent. I don't think the national polls will have Kerry with a lead until the last week, when undecideds start making up their minds.

12. And this daily tracking poll polled * at 1.9% over Gore on 11/7/00
...and had * up by about 9 pts a couple of days before the 2000 election. If Kerry is now behind by 2, I think it's safe to say he's actually ahead!

14. Your headline is false
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 01:10 PM by dolstein
Kerry continues to trail Bush once Nader is included. The last time I checked, Nader was still in the race. Because there is no chance of Nader dropping out, I don't see the point of reporting the results of national surveys that do not include Nader.

My headline is correct...

go to www.tipponline.com

Kerry's tied in the face to face poll with Bush* 45% -45% as i stated in my headline...

By the way Nader is not on the ballot in some twenty states so pollsters who ask that question are asking the question of people who can't vote for Nader because he's not on the ballot.. I doubt he will get many write ins...

Better luck next time.....

17. National polls including Nader are irrelevant
He's not on every ballot, so only state polls where Nader is on the ballot are worth paying attention to.

He will get less than one percent...

I wonder if he will do worse than Buchanan did in 00...

by the way Buchanan formally endorsed Bush in his crappy little magazine...

21. Just the way the media likes it
Despite everyone's claims that the media wants Bush to win, they'll be plenty happy if the race is dead even on election eve. My guess is that they were happy that Kerry did well in the debates and the race did not become a runaway, they're now happy that Bush is staying in it and no matter what happens over the next two weeks, they'll say that November 2nd will be a long night.
