SwiftBoat hero coming to my house

I can't wait. Jim Rassmusen, the swift boat vet that John Kerry rescued is coming to my house for a coffee on Friday morning. John Kerry is going to be in Reno on Friday afternoon and the campaign has Mr. Rassmusen doing some small gatherings in the outlying area. I'm so excited. We should have about 60 people here to have a conversation with Mr. Rassmusen. I'll give a detailed report on Friday noight when I get back from Reno.

Congratulations on getting this 'booking'. I will be looking for your posts on Friday p.m. To counteract all of the negative swiftboat stories a couple of months ago, I paid close attention to what vets like Mr. Rassmusen were saying.

Its been so disturbing and interesting to sit back and watch how divided people still are over Vietnam. I know several vets who look at JK as a hero, and a couple who do not. And you can't change their feelings, they have been ingrained way too long.

Again, congratulations! Enjoy the coffee time.
