Sinclair executives, knowing the company's stock would take a serious hit when they announced plans to run "Stolen Honor" on all of its affilliates, sold off quite a bit of stock at higher prices based upon their insider knowledge.

As Comptroller for New York State, Hevesi is in charge of large pension funds invested in stocks such as Sinclair.

Because of incompetent management, Sinclair´s stock is losing money - and Hevesi wrote Sinclair a letter politely asking them how they could be so stupid.
