It's time to send George W. Bush and his Republican allies in federal, state and local elections packing. They've lied, mislead and taken our country in the wrong direction. Because we can't afford another four years, you can't afford to stay home on Election Day.

Join ACT on the ground and help get millions of voters to the polls to elect John Kerry to the White House and Democrats up and down the ticket - in federal, state and local elections.

Over the past year, ACT and our partners have registered millions of new voters. These voters are not counted in the polls and they are not expected to turn out. But with your help, they will, and they will make the difference in hundreds of close races.

At 86 ACT offices and hundreds of volunteer staging locations across the battleground states, voter lists and maps are being prepared and thousands of vans are waiting to shuttle voters to the polls. It's already happening! In early vote states such as Florida, Nevada, Oregon and Iowa, ACT volunteers are helping fight back against the Republican's dirty tricks by getting Democrats to the polls in huge numbers.

3. Frankly, never understood why it wasn't a National Holiday

I mean, we have some of the stupidest excuses for a day off like Columbus Day. Why not VOTE DAY? That way you have all day to register your vote and celebrate your democratic right with friends, family, neighbors.
