Cut And Paste Any Bush* Speech Into MS-Word Then Check The Grammar...

if your spell-checker configuration has the "Show Readability Statistics" enabled... it's easy to see what Bush* speaking and reading level is.

Most of the time, the "Fleisch-Kincaid Grade Level" is at or near the 5th grade reading level. Clinton, Gore and Kerry speeches were all 11th grade and above. How revealing!!!

I believe that this reading level is determined by sentence length and complexity, paragraph length, and is weighted by average word length.
