early voting in albuquerque |
|
lots of polling stations in albuquerque opened on saturday. i just voted at one near my home. no lines no wait. gave the poll worker my name and address and she pulls up my voter registration data, and then i vote. its touch screen, but it seemed to work smoothly. at the end it displayed a summary of all the items on the ballot and how i voted. corrections were easy to make. there were about 20 voting machines.
if everything runs this well i will feel good about the albuquerque results

in the southeast part of town when I went in. Most of the people were grumbling about Bush, too, at least when the judge wasn't nearby.
