will be negligible on ED. Kerry is going to win this thing. Remember, that's a likely voter poll. We know how that underestimates Dem turnout.

8. Anyone alive in 2000 would recognize how ludicrous your post is |
|
Ralph Nader's vote was negligible in 2000. It was still large enough to cost Gore Florida and possibly New Hampshire. Considering how "negligible" Bush's margin of victory in Florida was, and how "negligible" Gore's margin of victory in New Mexico was, even a negligble number of votes for Nader is more than enough.

was polling at about 5 percent that vote was cut in half. Half of 1 percent is negligible. The people who vote for him wouldn't vote otherwise. I really think that is what will happen. This election is too important for a protest vote and most people get this.

11. The "newly registered voter" wildcard |
|
They even mentioned that...no idea who those people were and who they'd be voting for, but they could render the polls to be irrelevant.

9. Josh Marshall was right. The right track/wrong track bad for Bush. |
|
The NBC/Journal poll also notes that Kerry has a couple of clear advantages as he and Bush sprint toward the finish line. For starters, 48 percent of registered voters say the nation is on the wrong track, while only 39 percent think things are headed in the right direction. Moreover, 33 percent say the debates made them more likely to support Kerry, compared with only 17 percent who said they made them more likely to support Bush.
