Stop!! Enough of splitting these assinine hairs!!
Ohhhhhhh, Bush is UP 1.37% in state X. Kerry is up a whole 1 point in Z and sixteen national polls say Bush is up by a couple points and sixteen national polls say Kerry is. The bottom line is so clear that an idiot couldn't miss it: NO ONE IS EITHER WINNING OR LOSING. And, none of these polls are going to just squirt off the charts for either one from here to Nov. 2nd. It only takes one drunk in one bar in each precinct to not get off the stool and vote that will make the difference of who wins. And then comes the fraud which means we better get more drunks off of more barstools. Oh, and then add and subtact which governor's political machine (Taft and Bush, etc.) are running which states. And then divide by how many court justices belong to what party. ahhhhhh, the sweet smell of democracy.....otherwise known as shit.

1. Yep. Minor fluctuations in the polls are meaningless.
Absent a MAJOR, MAJOR news event, the race is pretty much set at this point. Kerry has shown himself to be credible, so the undecideds are likely to break his way given Bush's approval numbers. Other than that, it's all GOTV, which cannot be measured by polling.

2. Craig Crawford said this a.m that he has been traveling the battleground
states and that the Dems really, really do have a very professional and organized "get out the vote" organization and that they "know where to go to get it". He said the Repubs have tried to do the same but just are nowhere near it. He said they are good at getting out people to Bush rallies but not really "on the ground work" (in other words, yuppies can't be bothered pounding on doors and maning phones). So that's what I'm trying to get at with this post---get the goddamn Dems to the polls if you have to kidnap them and drag them by their toenails!!!!!!!!!!

4. I feel the same
Do whatever we can to help. Get on the phone for Kerry. Take days off to neighboring battleground states. Talk to all your friends on you Christmas cards list. Do our best, then we can enjoy a tall cold one on November 2 or maybe the morning of the 3rd. This election matters as to where this country will go for next two decade.
Action, Action, Action, big or small, do something!!!!
