I spent seven hours in the waiting room at Allegheny General Hospital today (ex-SO was having surgery). Anyway, during this time, the TV in the waiting room was tuned to the local ABC and CBS affiliates.

Along with having to suffer through seeing Pickles on Regis and Kelly Lee, Dr.Phil, The Price is F-ing Right, etc., I saw WAY more political ads than I'm used to seeing. I almost never watch broadcast TV, especially during the day.

Anyhoo, the ads for Bush outnumbered the ads for Kerry by at least 2-1, I'd bet. It was sickening. Did someone say Bush was giving up on PA? Gadzooks, I was glad to get the hell away from that TV!!!
