Hell congress had a raise every year the past 8 yrs.
Kerry is for raising...vote your pocketbook...let people know this.

Unfortunately many Americans do not know that Kerry also outed Bush on Bush's failure and unwillingless to push for a minimum wage. This issue needs to get out more.

that no politician is going to suggest raising it to a level that would significantly increase their changes of staying in or obtaining housing, or able to support themselves on 40 hours of work.
According to the gov's figures, basic rental apartments now cost almost 4 times the minimum wage.
Any symbolic "raise" of a couple of dollars, whether instantly or over a period of years, will resonate much more with people who are housing and food secure - those are the folks more likely to vote, and those are the ones you should tell about your candidate's proposal.
