Cheney fixated about a nuclear attack: fear monger extraordinaire
CARROLL, Ohio (AP) - Vice President Dick Cheney on Tuesday evoked the possibility of terrorists bombing U.S. cities with nuclear weapons and questioned whether Sen. John Kerry could combat such a threat, which the vice president called a concept ``you've got to get your mind around.''

This guy is deranged and won't let go of this. Maybe he was buggered when he had to do a duck and cover in grade school. (For those of you who weren't around in the 50's, we had a saftey drill where we had to get under our desks, hold our ankles and put our head between our legs to protect us from a Commie nuke). Something warped his mind and he's pulling out all the stops to make people afraid. The sad part is that too many Americans buy into it.

3. These are some sick bastards!
We were attacked on their watch while they were ignoring a multitude of warnings, and a very specific warning on Aug 6th. And these incompetent boobs expect us to trust them to keep us safe? Fat freaking chance of either of those two things happening. Trust and safe are two words that should never be in the same sentence when referring to these incompetent boobs. The only reason any American buy into these fearmongering BS lies, is because the MSM won't tell the freaking truth. Shame on them! Stewart is right, they are hurting America.

4. Yet they do nothing to keep us safe
I lived through the '60s and they were scary times, the missile crisis, air raid drills, Curtis LeMay. In '64, LBJ did some fear mongering about Goldwater/LeMay, planting the idea that voters should fear the nuclear button in control of the Republicans.

The world is much different today. There's no way we'll be bombed or have a missile lobbed at us. That would be much too easy to trace back.

Shipping containers are the ideal mode of transport yet virtually nothing has been done to protect us. Is there an ulterior motive here?

5. The ulterior motive is Fear
Unless Cheney decides to attack us. Check out the Onoin:

I'd be rolling on the floor if there wasn't an element of truth.

6. If he spent the first two years in his bunker because of security reasons
it must mean we're pretty safe right now.

However, maybe we're really in HIS 'reality' world - he's actually in his bunker, but we think we're seeing and hearing him.

7. You're right, they are trying to create our reality.
This scarey tidbit from the NYT Magazine Sunday:

The aide said that guys like me were ''in what we call the reality-based community,'' which he defined as people who ''believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.'' I nodded and murmured something about enlightenment principles and empiricism. He cut me off. ''That's not the way the world really works anymore,'' he continued. ''We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality -- judiciously, as you will -- we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.''

A long article but well worth it.

What will we do if they win? The thought is too much to take. Please help get out the vote.
