6. Carson seems extremely effective

as a debater. Clear, sharp, unflappable, made mincemeat out of his opponent. The attention given by Bush to other debates I bet will work for us. Those trying to echo Bush the loser are floundering.

Not all Dems capitalize as well as Carson is doing. I thought Castor looked amazed at Martinez' outrageous lying and did not capitalize at all. The Kentucky meltdown of Bunning overshadowed the decent Dem, but that result shows the Bush comparison also is a drag.

The Repugs in general look like the horse's ends to me, but that perhaps is a projected prejudice.

Carson should give lessons to Castor and a few others.
