Anyone see that picture of Karl Rove?
The picture of Karl Rove sitting in front of the nose gear of Air Force one? What's that all about? Try as I might I cannot think of any political statement that sitting in front of the nose gear of Air Force one although the caption did imply that is was some sort of demonstration of loyalty to Bush. How does sitting in front of the nose landing gear of Air Force One illustrate loyalty. They lost me on this one.

3. The madness of King Karl
the stress of managing DimSon finally got to him. Once they got him on the plane he curled up in the fetal position until the doc gave him his meds - then he slept like a little baby, only to get up to screw over the country once again.

4. good question............let's guess........
Maybe he lost some kind of bet to Bush "I'll lie in front of Airforce 1 if Wolfie doesn't call NJ a swing state today."

and then, of course, that b*stard B*sh held him to it. (good thing he didn't say he'd lie "nekkid"...eyes would fall out all over the world)

5. More a sign of power than loyalty, Rove is Bush's brain so if anyone...
...seeks favor from the Chief, they must first go through KKKarl Rove. AF-One is merely the symbol of the president.

Did you ever think about how many tax dollars are wasted carrying his worthless butt all over the country spewing lies and misinformation... while the elderly can't get meds, the homeless lie in the gutters, the soldiers die in Iraq, and people scratch to find a non-existant job.... and he criss-crosses the country as if it were just running down to the 7-11.... what an effed up situation.

9. original yahoo story
McGUIRE AIR FORCE BASE, N.J. - Karl Rove laid himself on the line Monday for his boss, the president of the United States.

That is, he laid himself under the wheels of Air Force One. Reason: Unclear, but it seems to have been an inside joke between Rove and President Bush.

Returning to the aircraft after Bush's foreign policy speech, the two men traded words. As Bush climbed the stairs, his top political adviser set his briefcase down in front of the tires and stretched out on the ground with his back to the wheels.

Rove stood back up moments later; a smiling Bush waved from the plane and they both got aboard.

"It was a humorous moment on the campaign trail," was all Bush campaign spokesman Scott Stanzel would say about Rove's antic.

***********

Possible reasons:

1. Rove was interfering with the reciever on Bush's back

2. God told Bush to tell Rove to do it

3. Last chance at getting an entry for one those "funny" home video shows since Bush won't be reelected.
