Sinclair Backs Down!

Of course, they'll still run some sort of pukeable tripe sometime on Friday evening but we made them stand down--we rolled 'em!

1. Its not good enough

This is just a ploy to ease their pummeling and by limiting the "documentary" to 45 mins they are throwing off Michael Moore's bid for equal time its a shame that Randi Moore and other LW media are praising this sham as some sort of victory its far from it.

Don't buy that BS because they'll still do their best to smear John Kerry. Mark Hyman absolutely hates Kerry.

3. this isn't a victory

this is combining a bunch of rw docs into a 'news' special so that they won't have to give kerry equal time. this is the worst of both worlds

6. I disagree

They blinked. Of course they're contemptible and will do what they can to smear Kerry and by the same token we're not finished with them (we're having a demonstration at their HQ tomorrow.)

Still, we made them move and it's important to recognize that--it's another confirmation of our strength. We've got them backing up: now we can overwhelm them with our message instead of responding to theirs.

Sinclair is not the issue. The issue is that Bush has failed America. Our supreme objective is to elect John Kerry.

9. They did not blink. They assumed a modified, but just as aggressive stance

I love brock but this is a PR ruse, plain and simple. Brock may like to take credit for "underwriting" the letter, but there is no substantive change except they are now calling the hit piece "news" with more "validity." We've got to tell their spomsors that we're not dopes, and if they advertise on this show, our boycotts will be lifetime-long.
