10. He will demand release of the CIA 9/11 report covered up since June
Bush & Co have cynically tried to stonewall, stall and cover up this damaging report until after the election since it blows away the phony Bush/Cheney claims of how much better than can protect us. I hope this disgraceful coverup will be front and center in the news for the next 2 weeks.

Give 'em hell Kerry!

34. Sorry, Fitzgerald's A Repugnican
In '98, they withheld revelations of investigations into George Ryan's office until AFTER the election...the information was kept out of the public by Fitzgerald and other Repugnican prosecutors at the time...that could have altered that election.

In hindsight, I'm glad things worked out the way they did. Ryan put a halt to the death penalty, tightened gun laws, went to Cuba and caved on O'Hare expansion. I called him the best Democratic governor in my lifetime.

They dragged Rove in to testify a week ago...didn't seem to get a peep on the news shows.

Sadly, the Plame matter is too complex to have any real affect on this election. However, if this regime somehow steals another 4 years, then this could be the start of another Watergate/Iran-Contra.

Seriously: There is a big difference between controlling it and merely having knowledge of it.

20. Look at it this way:
Let's say someone in the CIA has told Kerry what's going on and when it will be announced. Why should he talk about it? Why should he even acknowledge it? Yet, nevertheless, he will know with certainty it's coming so he knows he doesn't have to get too ugly with Bush. He knows someone else will take care of that for him.

Kerry doesn't live in a vaccuum; he probably has some insight into what's going down.

That doesn't mean he controls it, but he would be stupid not to use it to his advantage.

Just watch and learn.

23. The CIA probably
doesn't have any clue, either. This is in the hands of a Grand Jury. There's simply no way to "schedule" something like this.

I know there's this Bushies vs CIA feud going on. I'm a little surprised at how the Bushies seem to have been winning most of the squabbles with the spooks, however. I guess bureaucrats are better at the waiting game.

28. CIA 9/11 Report Exposes Bush Admin - Link
http://www.truthout.org/docs_04/102004V.shtml

The 9/11 Secret in the CIA's Back Pocket
By Robert Scheer
The Los Angeles Times

Tuesday 19 October 2004

The agency is withholding a damning report that points at senior officials.

It is shocking: The Bush administration is suppressing a CIA report on 9/11 until after the election, and this one names names. Although the report by the inspector general's office of the CIA was completed in June, it has not been made available to the congressional intelligence committees that mandated the study almost two years ago.

...full story at above link....

32. Can i make a suggestion....
no one gives a rat's ass about those online petitions.

it would be better to flood congress with faxes and calls.

many are also in their home states. some even out campaigning and can be put onthe spot publically.

lol -- do you really think those petitions are for real.

33. Online Petitions, Online Polls - Very Low Time Cost - Can't Lose
Online petitions and online polls have an EXTREMELY LOW TIME COST. This one takes about 15 seconds.

Provided the sponsor turns it in, it serves to show the networks that there is real interest in this story. The more signatories there are, the more effective it is.

It WOULD be better to flood congress with faxes and calls...but that would take significantly more time and effort. If you are up for it, go for it. But anyone can take 15 seconds and sign this thing. It might help, and it is very easy to do.

And, I think there was reference to 911 ?

Perhaps it is the CIA report, but unless America knows the content, it doesn't matter.
