1. I was thinking about that earlier |
|
It could happen on the same day could it not?

I will be happy that Kerry wins, but pissed if Boston wins. I can't believe my Yankees have turned into choking dogs. I was also embarrased by the fans behavior tonight.

3. Hey man, don't say shit like that, |

we don't want to jinx either one of them. That Sox curse is not to be taken lightly. Trust me, I'm a Cub fan.

5. yeah, we know all about curses |
|
We actually were cursed. The Saux aren't cursed, just unlucky they play in the same division as the Yanks.

Buckner carried the Cub curse to Boston? It was the Mets in '87 after all. God I hate them Mets.

10. Kerry's not cursed, quite the contrary |
|
He's a closer. And we've been seeing that for the past month. :bounce:

"Hell raised a hoarse, half-human cheer."
That's from a poem. It suddenly came to mind. Especially since I just read on another thread that Tom Delay showed up for a candidate debate and his opponent wiped the floor with him. Delay has NEVER debated.
We would still have the civil war in Iraq where they hate us for the next ten thousand years to deal with, of course.
But we would have a moment's happiness. Yes.
