Religion and Politics on Paula Hairdo's re-run
First Pat Robertson can't bring himself to say that you can be a Democrat and a Christian.

Then some Catholic bishop from Denver rips Kerry on abortion and turns a blind eye toward George Bush's pro-death penalty stance.

Difficult to take.

1. I wrote to CNN earlier about Pat Robertson
and told them they were FOOLS for allowing that con man on their set.

Told them what the man was involved in all of his life (besides "talking to God" *ahem)and how much harm he has caused; how he uses poor people's donations to run his ops and support his favorite candidates. Told CNN further that they were either in on the con game OR they were too stupid to do their own homework behind the guests they invite to speak. :smoke:

2. True Christians are socialists, like Christ
Robertson makes me ill. I can't bnelieve that until this election and war coverage I thought the media was unbiased. What about Paula's hair??? I couldn't stand to watch it tonight. literally had to turn it off.

3. No faith without deeds, and all that
Kerry is sincere and constructive in his approch to religion and politics. And all of our so-called religious community craps all over him anyway. The Man of Spiritualty is Bush, who gives to the rich, penalizes the poor and kills innocent people in a bogus war.

Yeah, I get it.
