Here's my wackiest theory:

A major news story, pre-empting programming, will occur to cover Sinclair's asses with their shareholders. If Sinclair goes ahead with what they're planning on doing, their stock will make the 15% loss since the announcement look like chump change.

I know, it's silly.

Turns out Bush DNA is more simian than human. Bush cult fans don't care; vote for him anyway.

3. Al Qaeda did 911 plot while staying overnight at Kerry's house

Several of the main plotters were in the Kerrys' PTA. Thereza baked them cookies. Drudge has proof, which he will reveal AFTER the election.

4. Hitler found alive, supports Democrats

Was planning on voting for Kerry. Bush singlehandedly kills the 116 year old dictator, by baking him a pie.

5. Terrorism spread by small furry animals

PETA has been supporting them all along. Bush's plan is to wipe out cats and dogs. Unfortunately, it's the gerbils that hatch the really nasty plots.

6. Your Children are threatened, your homes are threatened, all in one!

It's Halloween of course! Two days before the election. There have been credible reports extracted from the 'chatter' that turrists are planning on poisoning our sweet little trick or treaters with bad candy, abducting them as they make their rounds in their best costumes. In addition, turrists will be dressed up as trick or treaters and will be walking through YOUR neighborhood and will take you all hostage.

That's it, better cancel Halloween. Oh wait, Boy Georgie has captured said turrists just in the nick of time! We better elect that boy!

7. It's all been a dream.

We get up on the morning of November 2nd, head to the bathroom to take a shower, and lo and behold, Bobby Ewing is in the shower. He's ALIVE! Michael Moore, it WAS all a dream! Gore IS President and he's been SO successful the past four years that no Repuke would dare even run against him. All the Democrats (and many Republicans) are going to the polls to 'officially' vote Gore in for four more years! 9-11 never happened. Iraq never happened. Our military is safe and sound at home. Jobs galore. And NOT offshore. More people have health insurance than ever before. Social Security is secure. We are getting cheap, SAFE drugs from Canada. The environment is being well taken care of. Gas prices are down. We are developing alternate power/fuel supplies. Safe ones at that. No child HAS been left behind. Our veterans are getting ALL of their benefits.
We have strong support from all over the world. There is no such thing as a 'patriot act.' The Constitution is safe from being changed. Fahrenheit 9-11 didn't get made, but Michael Moore is still our hero. Lila's son comes home to visit once a month - from his post here in AmeriCa.

Nice dream huh? Took a dozen foil hats just to think of what life could have been like. That's what I'd hope for my October surprise, if such a thing were possible. sigh.
