Sinclair's "edited" version: A POW Story- Politics, Pressure and The Media

My local affiliate, KOVR 13 Sacramento, will be showing the propaganda piece on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7:00pm. Normally, all shows listed on TVGuide.com have a brief description of content, but not this one.

So we got POWS, Politics, Pressure and the Media, anyone care to guess the highlights?

I visited afox site that neede to be unfreeped, and found the news article about the new revised show with some detail....I'm so angry at these hypocritical jerks!!!!!!!!

5. Yeah, if you go by the title alone, it sounds extremely biased.

It sounds like it's going to be RW partisan BS, even in it's edited form.

9. Yes, I read that. But it doesn't explain why "A POW Story"...

... remains as the title. It is obvious that Sinclair has merely given the show a facelift, in order to find a way to deflate the growing pressure.

10. Surprise, surprise

David Smith, CEO of Sinclair, noted that, "The experience of preparing to air this news special has been trying for many of those involved. The company and many of its executives have endured personal attacks of the vilest nature, as well as calls on our advertisers and our viewers to boycott our stations and on our shareholders to sell their stock. In addition, and more shockingly, we have received threats of retribution from a member of Senator John Kerry's campaign

David - two pieces of advice:
1) You complain about the vile nature of the attacks. Well, if you want to play dirty, you're going to get dirty.
2) It's all about the money. When you put yourself and your politics above your investors, what do you expect them to do? Stand on the sidelines and cheer while their portfolios waste away?
3) Shockingly, you received threats from Kerry's campaign. See, right there you just gave away your true bias against Kerry. Shocking, it's shocking I tell you!

I thought you guys were pros.

"Politics" finally "Pressured" the "POWS" to unload their lies to the "Media"

POW's wanted to tell their story and the looney liberals tried to supress it. Because we hate them for their freedoms, doncha know.
