Just voted for Kerry today

I voted a straight Dem ticket, here in Cobb County, GA. My partner, who years ago was a die-hard Rep, also voted a straight Dem ticket. I even got my boss, who was wavering on voting at all, to meet us this AM and vote. I just wanted to share!

It felt great!

There was actually a line of people waiting just to drop absentee ballots in the box at the clerk's office. In Shelby Twp (MI) near me, 7,000 absentee ballots have already been mailed out, and they only have 47,000 registered voters.

I don't know what the percentage of absentee voters was last year, but that seems incredible to me.
