the psychology of bush "no volunteer army" remarks??

bush has several times blurted out the "no all volunteer army remark" then gone on to correct his comments.

Is this because he really is planning a draft and the truth keeps finding ways to come out of his mouth....harder to supress the truth than it is to keep repeating the lie? WE all know one can remember the truth but hard to recall exactly what lies we told....

If, God forbid, he is reselected; the white trash lemmings who make up his base will welcome the draft with open arms as an act of patriotism. They will be providing the cannon fodder that will be slaughtered in Iraq as they step outside their trailors and salute the tattered American flags they hung two years ago.

The plan is to keep saying it to us so we get used to hearing it, but keep retracting it so we lose our fear of it.

4. I saw that clip last night.

He said it and his adoring fans starting snickering. He stopped and just paused. They started to laugh. Then, and ONLY THEN did he seem to notice he said the exact opposite of what he meant. Jesus how many times has he done this??????

Were they laughing at what a jackass he is or what?
