7. Interesting that Trump is on both lists. Hedging his bets?
What's gratifying is seeing a whole list of people who have obviously benefitted from chimp's tax cuts, yet who put principle and the good of the country first.

In the past, there were quite a few rich folks giving to both candidates. I guess it goes to show how truly polarized the country is at the moment.

45. pro-tax cuts, anti-Iraq war
I remember seeing him on E! or one of those types of shows, and he said that, while he thinks Bush's tax policies are the right thing to do (gee, I wonder why?), he's very upset about the whole situation in Iraq. My take is that he's more concerned with Bush's incompetence in leading the war in Iraq than with any ideological underpinnings.

49. Viacom
Viacom owns CBS, MTV, and Comedy Central: the only three stations that have done any real journalism during Bush's tenure (lone exception being the recent Nightline Swifty expose). Do you honestly think CBS would have broken all those stories, or Jon Stewart would still have a job, if the CEO of its parent company was truly a Bush supporter?

56. I'm absolutely shocked, golfers support Bush
I love golf, but no denying it's deep red. I can't tell you how many heated political arguments I've had with playing partners this year.

On the donor list:

Ben Crenshaw
Davis Love
Arnold Palmer
Tom Kite
Greg Norman

Up the list if you want to include current or former golf commentators:

Jim Nantz
Pat Summerall
Vin Scully
Al Michaels

And among those who occasionally play the celebrity golf circuit, again pro Bush:

Maury Povich
Dan Marino
Lou Holtz
Mike Ditka
Troy Aikman

The only links Dems I could find were Kevin Coster and Chevy Chase. Andre Agassi plays occasionally. Woops, there's another one, at very bottom, casino mogul Steve Wynn. Good for him. Also a major golf course architect/owner in Las Vegas. Wynn actually had his hand permanently placed in a golf grip position after injurying it accidentally with a gun.

70. OMG! I just saw connie stevens on the* list...
now some of you may wonder who the hell connie stevens is but I grew up with her on tv(77 Sunset Strip) and the movies(some dreaded teen movies..I don't remember)and she sang..and I admired her for making it as a business woman(Forever Spring) after her celeb years.

Well, she gave a $1000.00 to b/c in August of this year.

She's also the mother of Joely Fisher who was on Ellen's Show.

Go Frickin' Figure!

If you use the link you can see her picture..

83. Connie Stevens
That one was hard for me also. Grew up with her and Troy Donahue. Admired her so much. Sigh! Oh, well, just goes to show how immature our thinking is during our teens.

73. Tom Arnold and Sheryl Crow
Both performed at the Harkin Steak Fry this year. I don't know if that gets them on the Kerry list or not.

75. No shocks on the Bush/Cheney list
Although dissappointed to see Loretta Lynn there, but it said she supported him in 2000 only. Who's she supporting now?

81. Great list! Has anyone cross-referenced the list of indicted
Republicans from Reagan-Bush Sr. "era" (or "error" - depends how you look at it). I betcha there is a longer list of criminals donating to Shrub.

85. Hank Aaron was on the wicki list as a Republican
Look and see here:

I'm sure you can forgive him for the Zell support in the past; certainly, Zell was a different man back then. Looking at the rest of the list, I think it's pretty clear where he stands.
