Dr. Dan strongly endorses John Kerry (Dem nominee in KY Senate)

Unlike some other Democrats in conservative states, Dr. Dan Mongiardo didn't hesitate in endorsing John Kerry for president in a "debate" last night from Lexington, "I think our state and our nation are headed in the wrong direction, John Kerry is a viable alternative."

The debate or rather non-debate, squirrley Senator Jim Bunning didn't come to the scheduled encounter and his camp gave no reason as to why this was the case.

In recent days Mongiardo has gone from a big deficit in the polls against Bunning to a dead heat and maybe even is ahead by now given the Senator's strange behavior.

This Senate race is an unexpected bonus for Democrats this year.
