bush's promises to our troops don't mean squat
Bush Promise:

"Our troops continue to face serious danger, and this government is giving them every means of protecting themselves and every means necessary to gain victory."

Bush Promise:

"Any time we put our troops into harm's way, you must have the best training, the best equipment, the best possible pay."

Bush Promise:

"In the war, America depends on our military to meet the dangers abroad and keep our country safe. The American people appreciate this sacrifice. And our government owes you more than gratitude. We must always make sure that America's soldiers are well-equipped and well-trained for this war on terror."

Bush Promise:

" will not have our veterans standing in line waiting for benefits that they've been promised."

Bush Promise:

"America's veterans honored their commitment to our country through their military service. I will honor our commitment to them with a billion dollar increase to ensure better access to quality care and faster decisions on benefit claims."

Bush Promise:

"If we don't stop extending our troops all around the world in nation-building missions, then we're going to have a serious problem coming down the road."

LIAR.
