Word Frequency Counts Reveal a Major Problem
Pandagon reports in Terrorist Who?:

Did a quick term count in yesterday’s “major” speech on terrorism. The results, amazingly, are even more ridiculous than I expected:
Frequency of John Kerry (with the terms “Senator”, “Senator Kerry”, or “my opponent”): 41

Frequency of “Saddam Hussein”: 4

Frequency of “Al Qaeda”: 1

Frequency of “Osama bin-Laden” or “bin-Laden”: 0

Assuming this was, as stated, a speech on terrorism, it seems quite clear that George W. Bush believes the main terrorist threat facing our country is John Kerry.
He probably does at that.

2. Do you seriously want an answer?
Bush gets the cable networks to cover live a "major foreign policy speech" in which he refers to his political opponent 4100% more often than to a national threat?

3. I don't think anyone here is surprised.
I thought the 4100% would be a little higher.

Another Bushism?

AUDIENCE: Four more years! Four more years! Four more years!

THE PRESIDENT: In a new term as your President, we will finish the work we have started. We will stand up for terror -- we will stand up for freedom. And on November the 2nd, my fellow Americans, I ask that you stand with me. (Applause.)

God bless. Thank you all. (Applause.)

5. I just think he's more afraid of Kerry than AlQueda-
I mean they never were his big priority, were they?
