Could There Be A Major Terror Alert In The Suburbs For Halloween?
Walking down the street today, looking at the decorations, I was struck by the administration's history of racheting up public anxiety around the holidays. What are the chances that we can expect to see cops with machine guns walking around downtown areas all over the country?

4. we couldn't find any eggs they were hiding, but
we know for sure they would liked to have pursued house egging related program activities

2. Probably not, but
there will be one person dressed like a covert spec op in Covington GA hiding in her own bushes to catch the little punks that I'm sure are going to try to steal my new Kerry/Edwards sign (#6 for me) or egg my house or something like that. And my dog will be dressed the same. Release the hounds...

6. As I said in another thread...
You can BET the incidents (incidence?) of mischief are definitely going to be way up this year, especially to houses that have a sign/political leaning outside (no matter which side).

5. halloween, on SUNDAY, with angry fundie: CHECK ALL CANDY
this year. i have opposed to the rule be fearful of candy on halloween, refused to be a part of that. almost took halloween out completely in the 90's. us parents are bringing it back for our kids and scrrew all the fear stuff

but, this year, on sunday, they say a holiday to celebrate the devil

not what i am doing. are you all celebrating devil. we are celebrating fears, in laughter and joy and family and lots of junk food
