Think about the reminder that this sends to the American electorate. Clinton has stayed relatively quiet (obviously, but even before his recent heart surgery) and kept a low profile during this capaign.

Clinton will be the reminder of how Democratic competence and intelligent stewardship gave this nation the best decade of our lives.*

Kerry is Clinton's equal (or better) in so many ways, I think the undecideds and more than a few Republicans (less than ethusiastic Bush/Cheney supporters) will be compeled to make the right decision.


* Whenever someone defends Bush by bringing up Clinton's consensual sex bust, I ask them to tell me what other issues they had with his administration. Damn, if that isn't a tough question.......

Knowing Clinton's affection for the limelight, this hiatus had to have been killing him (emotionally).
