Something Is Way Too Quiet in Campaign-ville...............
Feel like I'm driving down a street in sunny, downtown Baghdad waiting to run over one of those handy-dandy roadside bombs!!! Trust me. This is NOT the way the Bushes do things with just days left before the election. They don't depend on going out and selling their "vision" to the American people. All I can think of is that they believe that the Sinclair hit and the whorefest that will follow is going to put the nail in Kerry's coffin. .... the dirty little animals that only come out at night are way too quiet......

4. Not a lot of people know this
I've read varying accounts (some say the Saturday before, others longer than that), but days before Election Day 1992, Bill Clinton apparently learned from private polling conducted by or for his campaign, that he was going to win. Certainly by the weekend before the election.

That said, I do not believe that Karl Rove would be that philosophical about accepting defeat with equanimity. He is not the unstoppable dark genius we sometimes fear he is, but he is a beast and will not simply die. We need to stake his heart, cut off his head, and bury the corpse at a crossroads. Maybe several times.

2. Nah. Rove and Cheney are planning...
...a major "terrorist" attack on Washington DC for November 2. The election will be "postponed," and martial law will be declared.

5. I'm still waiting to find out why Sen. Mark Dayton closed his DC office.
That's the only thing out there that's got me a little concerned. Other than that, I'm pretty sunny about things.
