Woman arrested after getting past security into event (Cheney)
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- A woman was arrested Monday after she entered a restaurant where Vice President Dick Cheney was going to speak by coming in the back door, where her lawyer said there was no security or signs to stop her.

Attorney Jason Huber said his client, Charlotte Wilkerson, 45, of Charleston was being used as a scapegoat to cover up a Secret Service security lapse.

"She walked right in. It wasn't posted,'' Huber said. "In order to cover up for that they are going to arrest my client.

"She was inside. She was engaging in constitutionally protected and lawful behavior at all times,'' Huber said.

2. Oh bloody hell! This is fucking ridiculous!!
Wilkerson was charged in Charleston Municipal Court with disorderly conduct, obstructing an officer and carrying a concealed weapon. She had a boxcutter in her purse that she uses at her job at Target, Huber said.

6. This is the second
incident like this here in Charleston. Remember the couple at Bush's rally at the capitol who were handcuffed & removed because of their t-shirts? I attended a Kerry rally here shortly after that - and the couple made an appearance ... and received a warm round of applause from a more welcoming audience.

7. Did she sign an oath of loyalty?
Isn't there a law requiring that before you can hear either B or C speak?
