More from CMU campus, where Kerry is speaking tonight
There's a HUGE line already. The crowd is very happy and very diverse-made me proud to be a member of America's only inclusive party. LOTS of young people and retirees, which IMHO will be the keys to our upcoming victory. It's a very happy crowd.
Best signs:
"Bush Stole Rush's Stash"
"Bush: Patriot Act/Kerry: Real Patriot"
I'm leaving to go there as soon as I'm done work.

1. A right wing nutjob collaegue is a grad student at CMU -
I don't know how he got in - he's one of the least intelligent/interesting people I've had a chance to meet in a while.

Anyway, he is furious CMU is letting Kerry speak. He said if he were a full-time student and his student usage fees were going to support these speeches he'd withdraw from the university.

Keep us posted on new developments.

2. Is he rich?
The only way to get into CMU without the grades is to have the dough.

4. Not sure about the rich part - he's in his mid-twenties ...
but his family is from Mt. Lebo.

The boss hired him with high expectations and now does all of his work. It's lots of fun to watch.

8. He just comes off as dull, not spoiled. It's actually kind of funny.

Actually, he comes into my office about once a day with some great theory on why bush will win and Kerry will lose.

It takes about three minutes for me to digest his argument, tear it apart and watch him leave with his tail tucked up his arse.

But I'll give him credit he always comes back with something new.
