Generals for Kerry
I sure like that we've got General Kennedy on our team! Kerry attracts the most amazing women to his campaign!

Generals for Kerry!
Two Generals to Campaign for Kerry in Two Days

January 13, 2004

For Immediate Release

Manchester, N.H. – Two generals will be in the Granite State this week to rally support for John Kerry for President. Lt. General Claudia Kennedy (Ret.), the first and only woman to attain the rank of General in the U.S. Army, and Brigadier General Stephen A. Cheney, USMC (Ret), will urge voters to vote for John Kerry.

Today, Lt. General Claudia Kennedy and Governor Jeanne Shaheen will host a town hall meeting on important issues facing women and will highlight John Kerry’s lifetime advocacy for women and families. The discussion will be a part of the ongoing “Women’s Voices on the Trail” outreach initiative, a program that enables women across the country to influence policy and mobilize voters in support of John Kerry.
Lt. General Claudia Kennedy has held a variety of command and staff positions throughout her career, including Commander, 3rd Operations Battalion, U.S. Army Field Station Augsburg, Germany; Commander, San Antonio Recruiting Battalion, U.S. Army Recruiting Command; and Commander, 703d Military intelligence Brigade, Field Station Kunia, Hawaii. During her career, General Kennedy has received awards and decorations including the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Medal, and the Army Commendation Medal.

Brigadier General Stephen A. Cheney, USMC (Ret) retired from active duty in 2001 following a tour as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Eastern Recruiting Region, and Parris Island, South Carolina from June 1999 through June 2001.

5. MIC is not about those who serve in the military
the military industrial complex is about profits, mostly concerning weapons and people who never serve in the military, like bush and cheney. that's the mistake many people often make. the republicans support the MIC but try to make it seem supporting the MIC is supporting those who serve and veterans when it's not the same thing.

6. I think only traitors who want the BFEE to succeed are against Kerry.
The BFEE needs Kerry and his team silenced because they are the ones with the goods on them and Kerry is the oNLY one who can make the case against them with any clarity, from BCCi to its links to 9-11.

Kerry is an American hero for exposing more government corruption than ANY lawmaker in modern history. He is the one the BFEE needs OF the national stage...and FAST. They are using Dean's candidacy to accomplish their goal.

They are traitors to this country. Don't fall for their media manipulations of our Dem primary.

3. The Generals, the Editors, for Kerry. But Big Time Pols are for Dean. Why?

Sound interesting. Would have thought more Generals would come out
for Clark. But clark probably wants to de-emphasize this.

12. Kennedy, Reich, Cisneros
Feinstein, Ford, Jr., Cleland, Hart, Joe Wilson, Barney Frank; he's got a ton of the best political endorsements. I wouldn't trade one of these for Gore, Bradley or Harkin.

General Kennedy endorsed Kerry months ago and she and the other General are campaigning in NH, that's what this article is about. I was just noticing the number of sharp women Kerry has on his campaign, Shaheen, Vilsack, Kennedy, Teresa. Women might want to take a second look if they want a President that has been in their corner for decades.

8. Gen. Cheney is a liberal Dem who may run for office in SC.
He would be a powerful candidate here.
