4. Finally, a poll that shows equal Bush-GOP and Kerry-Dem support.
Republicans favor Bush 89-7
Democrats favor Kerry 88-7

The whole "Kerry hasn't shored up his base" meme was really pissing me off. I'm glad to see we're sticking a dagger in that beast, once and for all.

11. I was encouraged by that, too
and the undecided independents will break mostly for Kerry, giving him an advantage there.

13. Unfortunately, 98 percent would never happen
considering there a number of conservative Dems.

10. Its a shame Zell Miller was included in the poll
I just won't believe that 7% of Democrats favor Bush.

I can believe that a number of Republicans equal to say 7% of the Democrats polled claimed to be Democrats.

14. Look at Bush's showing in the south
Only 51% with Kerry at 39% that is alot of people still undecided in what is supposed to be Bush's best region.

17. Almost all of these numbers are great for Kerry
you are right W should be at least at 55% in the South, at least.

The 88% of Dems who support Kerry is what everyone said that he had to do AT the convention and that it was his only chance to sure up that base.....uh huh

Men should definitely be higher for W and Kerry is 10 points up with women not that anyone will point this out they will continue the
KERRY MUST DO BETTER WITH WOMEN!!! Bullsh*t

I am concerned about the split with indies. That is the closest I have seen in a long time.

we rarely see polls with Kerry's Dem support that high. I hope to God it's that high on election day.

the poll shows only 77% of black voters going for Kerry and 11%
for Bush--so many are undecided and I'm confident they will break for Kerry.
